Surgipack® Walking Sticks

Surgipack® Walking Sticks include a range of Aluminium and Wooden walking sticks.

 

The Surgipack® Aluminium Walking Sticks are made from the highest quality materials, under strict manufacturing guidelines to ensure that a strong durable walking stick is manufactured every time.

 

It takes more than two years to produce a quality Surgipack® Wooden Walking Stick. The wood for the crook-handle stick is cut from young growth, boiled in vats to free it from sap and bark, graded, then stacked and dried for up to 2 years. The sticks are then steamed in a kiln room bent and shank straightened. The T-handle (Continental) walking sticks are produced from dowels or squares of special wood (maple or beech) which are first cut and sanded by machine. Hand finishing is the next step which includes lathing, sanding, filing, staving, lacquering and polishing.
